Kok Mak Stable is located in the northern most part of Malaysia, approximately 500 km away from Kuala Lumpur.
The scenic view of paddy field and being right at the Thailand border have always caught my interest to ride in Kok Mak Stable.
There is a big arena for riding activities.
The greens around the riding track makes the riding experience extra relaxing.
A number of stable boxes next to the big arena.
There is a big open area in front of the stables for chilling out.
Imagine sipping a warm cup of coffee in the morning watching sunrise, or a BBQ dinner in the evening with your favorite people, anyone?
There are also many boxes for the horses.
The row of stable next to the arena with thick saw dust for the horses’ comfort.
I always appreciate stable who put the name signage for their horses. It shows how much they care. It’s the little acts that count.
Another row of stable with the tack room in the middle.
Neatly organized tack room. Each of the saddle is named with the horse.

Trail Ride at Kok Mak Stable
We booked the trail ride at 7.30 A.M. As we arrived the horses are almost done tacking waiting for us to depart.
Yumi adjusted her stirrup before mounting on her horse, Attakama.
Daniel on Coco, passing by a road before entering another part of the trail.
We passed by rubber estate on our way out to the trail.
There are plenty of long and clear track for slow cantering to enjoy the environment.

It took us a while to get to the top of the hill.
Climbing uphill passing through the bushes.
Finally, arriving at the top of the hill.
Of course, not to forget some solo photos.

Next, we moved on to the kenaf farm.
Passing down clear wide open field.

The signage of I Love Kenaf. As you can tell, the sun was bright as we passed.
Kenaf is a warm-season annual row crop in the same plant family as okra and cotton. In Malaysia, kenaf is fast becoming the country’s 3rd industrial crop after palm oil and rubber.
Kenaf plants are capable of growing to a height of 20 feet under favorable conditions; however, heights generally average 8 to 14 feet in a growing season of 4 to 5 months.
The beautiful scenery while coming back.
After returning from the trail, we also played with another horse in the arena.
